Frederick R Miller started in 1968 by Fred Miller, when he purchased his first vehicles to transport timber to paper mills. Over the years he built the business from strength to strength focusing on excellent service, supported by a loyal team of staff and drivers.

Ian Miller joined his father's firm aged 20. When, after 3 decades at the helm, Fred decided to retired, Ian stepped up as Managing Director.  It was Ian's foresight that led to Frederick Miller joining the Palletways network in 2001 - now covering GU RH KT PO BN TN postcodes.

Palletways, as a market leader in Europe and the UK in palletised delivery services, emulates the quality of the family brand.  Depots are individually owned maintaining excellent quality of service but backed by substantial centralised network enabling substantial investment in leading edge information technology. This resulted in further expansion of the business, with a second depot being established in Heathfield, Sussex in 2004.

With a huge site in Shackleford Surrey and the site in Heathfield in Sussex Frederick R Miller continues to explore complementary services.  Self storage and storage and fulfillment continue to be growing markets and a variety of options are available from single containers to 10000's of thousands of racked warehousing.  

Frederick R Miller is a company with a long standing reputation that contributes to local community initiatives - supporting the Guildford Heat's community programme, Hoops for Health, and the Everyman Charity.
