Palletways collects the product from Carlsberg UK’s National Distribution Centre and distributes direct to off licences, cash and carrys, wholesalers and independent grocers.

Danny is another great worker who supervises the operation while Steve sits back and watches from his new office chair! Has better taste in football teams than Steve, Danny is a real comic, forever cheerful and willing to do that bit extra to ensure our customers get their pallet delivery safe and on time.

Zoe Newbigging – 151 Office

Zoe, as our leading lady down at our Heathfield depot does all aspects of Customer Services, from answering the phone’s to the administration work to entering consignments. Zoe is relatively new to the company but certainly gives Brian a run for his money. When out of work, Zoe can be found at the stables with her horse, with whom Zoe loves to compete with throughout the summer months.

Lynda Harper – Customer Services

Lynda is our scanning queen and does the later shift of the day ensuring that all our Proof of Delivery’s get scanned and uploaded onto the system ready for the next working day. Lynda loves to see her Grandchildren and visits her daughter in Spain once a year. Lynda and Diane are great friends and work very hard on the phones together…and then work very hard shopping at the weekends together.

Diane Reynolds – Head of Customer Services

Diane knows everything as Head of our Customer Services! Our true Welsh lady loves the rugby and is top dog at any query you throw her way. Diane introduced ‘naughty Fridays’ in the office which has been a huge hit, and usually sees Ian buying a chocolate treat fro everyone in the office.

Brad Searle – Vehicle Maintenance Manager

Brad holds together the running of all our vehicles. He is often seen covered in grease and as a consequence is banned from touching any paperwork in the Accounts office. A most valuable and reliable member of the team who ensures the loading of pallets in the evening runs smoothly.

John Morse – Sales Rep

John, responsible for our new sales and business development, is always busy on the road. As you can see from our enormous delivery areaa, John’s car does a fair few miles, taking care of our customers by regularly visiting them, negotiating prices and acting as our go-between. Always a happy chappy, John is very willing to have a meeting with you wherever you may be.

Ann Martyn – Accounts payable

Ann is our newbie in the Accounts department. She loves to keep fit by running at what we all joke in the office as “silly o’clock”. Ann is the lady who takes our payments in and aince her start with us in November has built up great relations with our customers. Ann is very touchy about people putting an ‘E’ on the end of her name.

Ian Miller – Managing Director

Ian’s father Fred set up the business back in 1984 as a haulage service company. Today you will see that the company has evolved ten-fold to maintain the Miller name as a 3 depot member of the Palletways network. Having worked his way up, starting off as a driver, Ian is aware of all ins and outs of the company and the way it works. Ian loves to travel with his wife, go fishing, play golf and can always spark up a good BBQ!

Steve Mason – Heathfield Depot Manager

Steve is the newly appointed manager of our Heathfield site which has now integrated the Brooks Transport team of drivers and staff. He leads from the front and is highly respected by all and forever positive. Allegedly a bit of a football fanatic, despite a poor taste in choice of team (soon to lose their manager?). Steve is highly experienced and has worked in all apsects of logistics, transport, warehousing and distribution. An expert in pallet delivery!
